Tech4Race was named one of the Top 50 most innovative sports startups by Hype Foundation in 2017!
Hype Foundation is an organisation promoting entrepreneurship and tech innovation around sport and has for mission to empower the new visionaries of the world. It teams up with large corporations, to name just a few: Accenture, Google, Microsoft or Team Sky.
After eight regional competitions across the world in search of the most innovative startups, a jury made of sports executives, brand leaders, athletes and technology experts, chose the most innovative projects and Tech4Race was of course shortlisted!
The startup can now access the Hype Foundation’s program and its distinct network of international firms and sports professionals – including investors and media. They now have the opportunity to attend key events such as UEFA Champions League finale, the British Open, the Tour de France or the Boston Marathon.
Anaïs Ducloyer (Communication & Marketing) tells us that thanks to this distinction, they will be able : “to be more visible abroad and launch our international development starting in 2018. It is a strong sign of encouragement which only reinforces our will to succeed!”
Tech4Race is a startup based in Rennes specialised in equipments that track outdoor events live. With more than 54 athletes who used the solution and 4.522 kilometers covered, a fundraising campaign started in February via a crowdfunding platform – Gwenneg (check it out, it’s in French).
Tech4Race also followed our acceleration program Le Booster for its third edition in 2016 and we are very proud of the team’s achievements!
